Jeff Isenhour PGA, Director of Golf

Jeff has been the Golf Director for Rock Barn Golf & Spa since 1995. His illustrious career started on the Taylorsville High School golf team and he sharpened his skills at the Brushy Mountain Golf Course. He went on to Wilkes Community College where he graduated with a two-year associate’s degree and later attended Lenoir-Rhyne College where he was a member of the school’s golf team, which claimed the 1971 District 26 Golf Championship. 

Throughout his career as a PGA Professional Jeff has been associated with several of the finest clubs in the Western Piedmont Region. In 2007, Jeff received the prestigious “Golf Director of the Year Award” in North Carolina, presented by the North Carolina Chamber’s North Carolina Magazine. The magazine’s readership not only favored Rock Barn’s Golf Pro, but voted Rock Barn Golf and Spa the number one Course for Business Outings.

Jack Fleissner PGA, Head Golf Professional 

Jack Fleissner was brought onto the staff in fall of 1994 as the Assistant Golf Professional. Jack earned his PGA Class A status in spring of 2003 and not long after was promoted to Head Golf Professional. His responsibilities include overseeing daily golf shop operations, member, corporate & charity event management along with golf instruction. 

Jack grew up in southwestern Pennsylvania where his two passions were football & golf. After high school Jack received a football scholarship to Toledo University where he studied data processing. In 1991 after college he started to pursue his other passion when Jack took the Assistant Golf Professional position at Santee National Golf Club in SC. In 1994 Jack moved into Catawba county where he soon made contact with Rock Barn about an open assistant position… In the Fall of 2013 Jack was awarded the Western NC Golf Professional of the Year.

Andy Zachowicz PGA, Director of Instruction 

Andy started his golf career immediately after college. As a 4-year captain of his collegiate team, Andy learned he had a passion for helping others improve their game.  After getting his feet wet at a local driving range, he dove into teaching full time, where he gave more than 12,000 lessons over the next 8 years.

Andy has given lessons to people of all ages, skill levels, and abilities. He has a strong passion and love for the game, and looks forwards to helping your game!
